The format for Progression Sessions is as follows:

  • Dinners are hosted once a quarter.
  • People are invited to join about one month before the dinner.
  • The dinner is generally hosted on a Thursday evening.
  • The host sends out a formal invite ahead of the dinner.
  • The host sends out any “reading materials” a week before the dinner, with details on logistics.
  • The dinner starts around 6:30pm.
  • There is no end of the conversation, but generally the dinner goes through about 10:30/11:00.
  • When guests arrive, they are introduced to one another.
  • Sit down generally occurs around 7:00, and the conversation begins shortly after that.
  • The host (re) introduces the topic, and launches into specific conversations starting questions.
  • The role of the host, during the conversation, is to maintain the flow, and ensure that those seeking to speak have had an opportunity to speak.

The best way to understand how these sessions work is to participate in one. We encourage you to apply to be invited to a future session.  Be aware though, that for the time being, we are only offering these sessions in the Boston, MA, USA region.
